Mrs Smith's Year 2 Class - 2014

 

Technology is an excellent opportunity for the children to see a broader perspective of life and get a larger sense of what's possible in the world and deepen their knowledge.  Online learning can provide opportunities for problem solving and critical thinking.

 

Lessons will be planned for technology integrated lessons using internet resources, Interactive Whiteboard, cameras, notebooks and iPads. 

 

Students will acquire skills and knowledge relating to the use of technology for enhancing personal and collaborative abilities.  With increased skills students can construct their own learning through rich learning environments.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the near future schooling will change, with students bringing their own devices (BYOD) like laptops, tablets and smartphones.

 

Institutions are becoming more technology innovative with creating apps for our easy use of their products, like banks and supermarkets.
